Tomtom Go Classic/USA MAP

I have a map of the USA (SD card) I bought from Tomtom For my Go Classic.
Will this map work in my refurbished Tomtom 720, or is it possible that it will corrupt the software! Thanks in advance.

Some of the map SD card releases are simply locked to the SD card so they will work in any device, I would try it in the 720 and see what happens when you go to Change preferences / Manage Maps/ Switch maps, if its listed selected it and you will be able to use the map.

The software is stored on the internal flash memory so give it a try - Mike
