Don't know if this is allowed or the right place but Tesco on-line are selling several MM OS map titles at half price (January 2009). |

Thanks very much for that tip. They have a good range of the V5 software at unbeatable prices - and post free if you collect from your nearest store |

Not a great range left - but the 'Half-UK' discs at £65 are pretty good value, as is the 2,500km 25k selections at half-price. |

Would this have anything to do with the OS statement that this mapping data will from next month be provided without charge?
It will be interesting to see what format these maps will be in.

I very much doubt it - this thread is over a year old!.
I've seen several posts dotted about the forums implying the blanket statement that all OS mapping data will be free, but this is almost certainly not the case. I'll be interested to see which of the datasets will be free and exactly how the OS are going to manage its availability.
It would also be interesting to know how the MM business model will cope: at the moment the software is free and they make their money from the mapping licenses. |
