Can anyone tell me if there is a workaround way to get my Nokia N95 phone book onto my Nuvi 360. Presently when bluetoothed together
and phone book pressed I get a popup saying "No data available. Note: not all phones support this feature".
Anyone know of another way to transfer my numbers, or even how to save numbers manually, with name on the Nuvi, please ??? |

Of course you realise the N95 is NOT on the GARMIN supported list.....
But.... Select all contacts on your N95 (Mark All option when in contacts)
Then, from options on the N95, you should be able to send business cards from the N95 with BT being one of the options. Select this and then select your nuvi when presented with a list of BT devices. It should transfer the data you need and allow you to choose them from the nuvi. It will not keep this list updated on the nuvi so if you make changes on the N95 you will need to resend that particular contact again.
The above procedure worked on my nuvi 660 with Nokia N80 N73 and 6110
phones I have. _________________ Phil |

You should install the 'Nokia 810 Contact Download Application' on your N95. After installation, run the program once and the phone will automatic sync your contacts every time you connect with the nuvi.
Make sure to download the correct version for your phone:

(This works for most Nokia phones) |

I did try the 810 download manager (it's designed for Nokia's own 810 handsfree unit). It does work but on my N80 and N73 it used to "aid" in the battery drain. It seemed to stay running in the background quite often.
I've not bothered with it on my 6110.
It's probably useful if your contacts change regularly - but mine are fairly static - so I prefer the manual method every now and then. _________________ Phil |
