Swindonish ? both eastbound and westbound but only seem to have a 50mph speed limit Westbound.
Not in the camera database yet either as spec cameras ?
Anyone confirm? _________________ "You have reached your destination" |

Drove through these this afternoon,London to South Wales. None showed up on my TT - using yesterdys update.
Also prior to junction 14 (I think) there was another whole swath of specs - no raod works and no speed limits. I was on my own and couldn't mark any of them.
But I think they are different to the ones in the database already, on the other hand can't believe someone hasn't spotted them if they are different, because I am never so lucky!!
If I'm wrong, then apologies in advance _________________ Triumph Tbird 1700. And now a Bonnie T100. |

The update was Wednesday and it came out a day before I could verify them all. Next Wednesday's release will probably have something like 3 in each direction both at Swindon (J15 to 16) and those further east (J14 to 15). At least with the updates on a weekly basis, these will be in the database within a week of them being activated (they weren't all active yesterday). _________________ Dennis

Ah, right you are nice one.
Didn't see a single mobile all the way down - White City A40 to Junction 34 M4.
The only thing out of the ordinary - and i came off to have a look, was 2 traffic bikes, one on the Polish roundabout A40, watching eastbound traffice. Thought he had a handheld, black square box sort of thing. But he was astride the bike and panniers closed. I drove back onto the A40 and just by Northolt aerodrome saw another traffic bike coming down the middle lane.
Could have been working as spotter and stopper, or just waiting to meet up.
Anyway, I've let it be. _________________ Triumph Tbird 1700. And now a Bonnie T100. |

There was a mobile van operating on the overbridge immediately to the east of Junction 15 between 12:45 and 2pm yesterday. Mobile:51436 and/or 51437. Like a good little lad I submitted Seen Again when I got home.
The current main favourite site for the last two or three months is Mobile:14111 and/or 7033, between 16 and 17.
PS "All the way down"? From London, anywhere is UP. _________________ Dennis

Unless you are on a railway, when the line TOWARDS London is the UP line. (It might be different in Bristol to the rest of UK though) |

The Reverend Spooner coined it perfectly back in the 19th Century when he commanded a student to leave the university. "You will leave Oxford by the Town Drain!". He meant down train, i.e. the one to London, but there y'go ;) _________________ Roger, G1LIW
