Hi

My Fortuna Clip On and Nav 3 arrived yesterday, set up went well and the GPS and 4150 are seeing each other. The problem I'm getting is when I come out of Nav (close the software, switch off BT on the ipaq, turn power off the Clip on) it keeps asking me to re connect the BT, every time I close the window it happens again....any ideas?

Richard

When you say you close the software do you actually exit the application or just tap the cross in the top right corner of the screen? Tapping the cross doesn't close Tom Tom, it just kind of minimises it.

If this is what's causing your problem you need to either tap on the navigator screen and then tap through 'more' a couple of times until you see the exit aplication icon and tap that or from the map screen tap 'file' then 'exit'. Once you have done this Tom Tom will stop asking for a BT device.

It's very annoying that you can't so much as look at Tom Tom without your BT GPS turned on. I have seen suggestions for a fix elsewhere in the forums but can't remember where so I will let you have the pleasure of looking if it Smile

Thanks Clarkey...stupid me I forgot tapping the 'x' doesnt close the application, very annoying sometimes, will have to get one of those tools / apps to sort it out.

As for hunting around the forums for a solution... after 1.5hrs found it under the Fortuna forum.

Cheers

Richard
