i have a 'no blue sea' issue that tom tom are attempting to resolve (still), they've made me jump through 400 hoops so far, now i'm on 8.3, no blue-tooth, no tmc rds, there could be more time will tell. how do i go back?
i did a manual backup copy tom-toms suggestion (not via tomtom home though) all files to hard drive prior, can i just copy this back to tom tom?
I'm going to give tom tom a while more to suggest a fix before i go back.
could the tmc rds be plug socket related?
how often do the sockets fail, with all that plugging and unplugging of the jack plug each time i leave the car!
thanks for your time.
regards,
GaRy:) _________________ Tom Tom 720

If you want to put Navcore 8,010 back on your device have a read of This post.
Its not unheard of for the RDS-TMC socket to fail on the device, when you plug the receiver in to the unit it should flash a message up top right saying that it has connected (white text on a black background) - As for the Bluetooth make sure it is actually enabled, I have seen updates/ connections to the PC disable the Bluetooth which isn't always obvious - Mike

May be unrelated, but my tmc cable failed recently. contacted tt support and arranged to pick up my old non-working one and send me out a new tmc cable to fix it. all within a week too!! _________________ Tomtom GO 1005 LIVE
