If you mean the icons that you get on the new x40 models, then no, you don't. TomTom want to reserve those for the premium range. |

Ah right, I was confused by you saying "new look".
You should get IQ routing and Lane guidance if you are on v815 maps and v8.3 software.
If you ask it to calculate a route, when it gets to the summary screen, it should say "Fastest route - IQ routes" and the time and date below the summary of distance and duration.
If you do an AtoB advanced planning route, there should be an extra step where it asks you what time you want to depart before it calculates.
You should be able to enable or disable IQ routing in the Change Preferences page 5 of 8/Planning Preferences menu (button at bottom right), and you should be able to show/hide Lane images in Change preferences/page 3 of 8 |

Maps are only available from TomTom and are linked to the device they are bought for.
PS, Please try not using so much txt speak - we're not all that young _________________ Gerry

Blimey! If your English is bad, then you have done a VERY good job of learning it the way people now use as a quick way of entering text into mobile phone messages. That's what Gery meant by "txt speak". |
