Can't see my POI's...

Hi All,

I've just copied across all of the database into the map directory on my Tom Tom One XL. I can see them in the POI lists e.g. 'Show POI category on map' and have ticket them all but for some reason can never actually see them when looking at the map. Does anyone know what i've done wrong? I followed the instructions but perhaps am missing an option somewhere?

Hi Mike,

If your sitting at home for example and you dont have any of your POI near you, then you wont see them on the screen.

If you try going to Browse Map, you can see them on there, double check under the Options that you have Show POI ticked.
You may also need to zoom in to a level which they are shown.

You could also try doing a A to B planning, which you set up a route, and watch it play back, you should see the POI on the map.

i take it when you ticked them on Show POI that the icons were valid as well?

Otherwise sounds like everything should be ok?

While on "Browse map" what do you see if you go "Find" and select one of the POI entries in one of the categories you've added?

We see you’re using an ad-blocker. We’re fine with that and won’t stop you visiting the site.

Or you could disable your ad-blocker for this site. We think you’ll find our adverts are not overbearing!
