Has anyone got any experience of these units in the UK yet?

Seems to be like the road angel connected. |

Too early to tell but a French colleague of mine has reported many issues with the database in France.
Unless they sell lots then how accurate will the alerts be? _________________ Darren Griffin |

Hi Darren,
I guess that until they have alot on the road then its a catch 22.
I just wish that TT would sell the add on unit for my 520 to give the live services.
At least then most of the units are already out there. |

I'm afraid that relying on others to report is a fools errand. TomTom's database is woeful as well, they can't even get their fixed camera database right, what hope have they for mobiles? _________________ Darren Griffin |

True about tomtom,
Even though its the best satnav for me, every time they add something it does not work fully.
All i get is that they will fix it on the next release.
That never happens and iam not spending more money on the next model anymore. |

I do like TomTom's but I wish they would get the core features working and stop farting about with all the add-on guff which rarely performs as promised! _________________ Darren Griffin |

Hi Darren,
I bit off topic but a quick question before i forget.
I had submitted a mobile camera a while ago.
Using the submit map (there was no existing location there so i assume i was first).
The location is on the latest release.
Camera = mobile 18425@30 (harbour view, Roker,Sunderland)
Did i miss getting in first?
Thanks

This camera was added in May 2006. It was then purged in Nov and seen again and re-activated in Dec. Your report was a 'seen-again' report which does not qualify as the camera was previously known to us, sorry. _________________ Darren Griffin |

Hi Darren,
Ok Thanks for checking for me.
I still have a pending one but don't know if it was an old one?
