Tomtom One XL v2 Software on Memory Card Problem

Please help, i got a new v2 tomtom one xl for christmas. It comes with a 1 gig memory card. Ive downloaded the tomtom application for my apple mac and all works fine. The problem started after the updates when my 3 year old pulled the usb cable out mid update. Now it wont boot up with the memory card in but works fine without. Is there anywhere i can download the standard uk and ireland config for the info on the card ?
Any help would save me gettin an arse kickin from my sons mum !!

Have you tried a pin reset with the card in and a pin reset with the sd card out of the unit?

If it is working fine without the card fitted, has it ever worked with the card inserted.
As this is a TomTom One it will only work if everything from the internal memory is copied to the SD card, out of interest why do you need to use n SD card with the device? - Mike
