Hi
Does anybody know if there is a way to
delete text messages on nuvi 760
without resetting it?

| Delete them from your phone. Then try switching the phone off and on so it resyncs the Phone Book and Messages. |

| I had this same problem, 95% of the time the deleted message would stay on the unit, only very occasionally would it actually get deleted. |

Thanks for replying, I tried what you suggested but it didn't work.
I suppose I will have to reset it, which is very annoying because I will lose all the saved locations. |

Take a backup of your unit before you do anything - that way you can copy the current.gpx file (it's in the GARMIn/GPX folder - at least on my 660). This contains your favourites.

Do I just copy the gpx file somewhere or is there more to it? |
