Just got a x40 and wanted to subscribe to the HD traffic. Had a look at the cost of the LIVE services bundle on TomTom site and it now costs £7.99/Mth. Has this been permanently reduced as it was £9.99/Mth, or is it Xmas special. If i start subscription now will it take into account the free 3 month trial. |

The £9.99 price was the one TomTom quoted pre-launch. At launch it had been fixed at £7.99. As there is no contract they are at liberty to raise and lower the price as they see fit. Why not wait until your trial has expired as I doubt the price will be rising, given all the issues they may have to reduce it not increase it! _________________ Darren Griffin |

It works, HD Traffic is certainly better than RDS-TMC but it is still far from something you can trust, it is hoped it will get better but give it a trial first and see for yourself.
I personally couldn't justify £7.99 per month for HD Traffic as it currently stands and the other services are just icing, Fuel pricing for example. I'll leave you to read other users opinions of their safety camera service. _________________ Darren Griffin |

Don't forget there are no additional GPRS data costs with HD Traffic, it's included in the tariff.
This may not make much difference if you have a large data bundle in your mobile tariff but if you are on PAYG it can make a difference. _________________ Drivelux |
