Why are you paying for HD traffic or other Live Services when they are free for 3 months? _________________ Drivelux |

Hi John,
In my experience letters like that let off some steam but don't often get the desired result any quicker than a bit of patience. I recently had some problems with TT Support when my old GO910 needed sorting out when I was getting it working again to sell it after buying a GO 940. TT's support is notoriously slow but they do get there in the end...!
Good luck though and if you post some details of the problems here you may well get a result that way. _________________ Device: GO 600, Live connected via iPhone 5.

Its unlikley to help but I received my 940 yesterday and the Live services are also not working. Luckily I knew all the questions and information TomTom support required, and supplied this, my call is with second line.
I beleive our problem is caused by one of two things, 1. The Live services are down but other users would be complaining. 2. Our units have been shipped with the wrong Vodafone SIM's and this is what I think is the most likely. I'm not sure if the SIM problem can be corrected remotely by TomTom & Vodafone or our units will need replacinging/fixing.
Where did your unit come from, mine was shipped directly from TomTom Holland. |

Or it simply needs provisioning. They have had some issues with devices that needed to be re-provisioned to enable them. _________________ Darren Griffin |

@SpeedCam,
Your issue is that the unit is from Holland - HD Traffic will only work in units purchased in that country........... |

I think Darren is correct, I have been doing a little rmore esearch, even though my unit shipped from Holland it is a UK unit as it included the £50 fuel voucher. Also if you check the SIM ID the number will be similar to xx99xxxxx where 99 is the country code, and mine is correctly showing 44 so hopefully TomTom will be able to correct the problem without a replacing the unit. |

I had that problem with a 540. Firstly are you sure your in a vodaphone reception area?
After that try reinstalling the firmware by 1. backing everything up via windows 2. removing all loose files on the device, (non folder files) and connecting to home to download new firmware. Worked for me! |
