I am looking to create a list of local LPG stations (NI) and put them onto my Garmin Nuvi 200W. If someone could post me up some pointers on what to do.
Thanks

Hi ni_mike,
to the forum!
Have you seen our list of free POIs that you can download, which contain fuel stations and LPG sites?
Have a look here.
I don't know if there is much coverage yet in NI for LPG sites, but if there are any missing then please submit them yourself to the website.

Hi Robert, thanks for the information. I have submitted about 6 filling stations already, so will it take long before they appear in the download?
One other question, once they are ready, what do I do to get it installed?
Any help appreciated.
Thanks again

Hi Mike,

We have two moderators (Oldie and Oldboy) who are unpaid database administrators. As long as you gave enough comprehensive information then they will update the database as soon as they can. I have known them to do it extremely quickly (within the hour) but realistically you may have to wait a few days to a week.
Keep visiting the upload page and have a look at the Google map, where you submitted the POIs. When the POIs that you submitted have changed from see-through to solid then they are on the database and can then be downloaded.

I’m afraid that I’m not familiar with Garmin products, but have a look at the installation guide for the PocketGPSWorld camera database, here, as that should help.
By the way, have you thought of using the PocketGPSWorld camera database on your new Nüvi?

Afraid I don't know why. _________________ Richard

I stand corrected.
Sorry ni_mike for giving you the wrong information.
