ZUMO 550. Can anyone help me please? Is it possible for me to load both UK and European Camera database at the same time?
Having looked at the loading instructions on PGPSW and through Garmin's POI loader, it states the European database must be loaded within POI using metric measurements for it to work correctly. In doing this I assume one or the other would then not work correctly in respect of the speed warnings and distances.
Am I able to create a seperate file for the Euro camera database and the load it seperately on the ZUMO's custom poi's folder? I have tried this, but all that happened was the previous folder of the UK database was replaced with the European one.
If I did load it on, if I were then to change the Zumos' operating from miles to kilometres would it then work correctly when I'm abroad?
I'm possible doing something wrong when i try to load the database or am I expecting too much of my Zumo's capability? Hopefully someone can help sort out this frustrating problem.

Did you rename one of the files as per the instructions so it doesn't get overwritten?

From this thread

Quote:
POILoader names the file that is put on your SD card as poi.gpi and will overwrite any existing file. However, if you rename the UK based file that is already on the SD card (which used miles when being constructed with POILoader) as, say UKpoi.gpi and then use POILoader (with km) for the European csv data files the resulting new poi.gpi will sit happily alongside UKpoi.gpi.
