I'm trying to decide what capacity card to add to my nice new 540. Does anyone know whether it will take SDHC cards of 4GB and above or am I restricted to a 2GB card?
Cheers,
Dave. |

My 940 is using a 6GB without any problems and I would expect your device to do the same, in fact it will accept anything upto 32GB (when they are made available) - 16 GB size cards can be found for sale at the moment though if you really need that ammount of storage - Mike |

Cheers. I think I'll take a chance then.

But what are you going to put on it - more maps? if so perhaps the 740 or 940 might have been a better choice? - Mike |

Probably
I want some space for the European maps when I need them (which I don't yet - maybe next summer).
I also fancied playing with putting some photos on it for viewing/showing people.
The other thought that occured to me was that as I'm always likely to have it with me, I can use the spare space for transferring files etc between work and home instead of a USB stick I'm more likely to lose.
