Still coming to grips with my S90i...

Having paired my cellphone (Nokia 6121 Classic) with the Navman. is there any way I can save the details so that they are retained after I power down the unit? I know that if I move away from the unit with the phone, while it is left powered up, the details are retained and therefore self pairs when I get back in range.

Each time I power down the unit, though, I need to go through the whole tedious pairing procedure after powering up... If I can avoid that, I would be much happier...

Cheers, DavidG

Well it seems I may have answered my own query...

I accidently left the unit powered up overnight, but it seems that the unit powers itself down automatically after a tme of inactivity to save its battery. When starting it up from this state, the bluetooth connection automatically restarts - which iis what I want...

So the answer is not to power down the unit manually...

Also
do you turn the device off or put in standby?
To turn off i mean hold the power button till it turns off, resetting the device.
Standby, press the power button for 2 seconds

To be honest, I hadn't realised there was a way to put it on standby... Embarassed I had let the unit go in to standby through five minutes of inactivity...

Prior to that, I had powered it down completely, and thats when it lost the pairing with the cell phone.

HTH
