For the Garmins they need to be mp3 - hence the Garmin downloads are mp3 and not ogg.
Then you need to add them to the folder you keep your POIs in and then upload the lot with POILoader. Make sure you have mp3 that match the names of your CSV files. |

He means that the Filename has to be the same in both cases.
As in Gatso.csv and Gatso.mp3 _________________ Richard

Well say you already have
GATSO.CSV
and
GATSO.BMP
from the database, you need the mp3 you to sound when you go near a GATSO to be called GATSO.mp3... |

You don't need to disable the built in ones first - although it might be an idea. The last person to have this trouble found he didn't have enough room on his card and it was only after he freed up some space that it worked.
It looks like you are using the Speed Zoned Database which will result in a large number of mp3 needing to be transferred and will create a huge POI.GPI file. This maybe the problem.
Try the following:
1) When given the option by POILoader of where to save the files save it to your PC (Custom Folder) and not the Nuvi or the SD card. How big is the file it creates?
2) Will this fit into your SD card or the Nuvi memory?
3) Try the Consolidated database or the Single File. These use less files and less mp3s. |
