|
|
In the 6+ years that PocketGPSWorld.com has been publishing the Speed Camera database it has seen many changes.
We split the data by camera type, added speed limit data and direction information (for supported systems). We introduced high quality icons and a selection of real voice alerts. We moved from occasional updates to bi-monthly, monthly and bi-weekly and now we're changing yet again!
From next Wednesday, 15th October we are delighted to announce we will be moving to a weekly release schedule. From then going forwards we will endeavour to publish updates every Wednesday so save the date!
Now there are more reasons than ever to join the growing band of PocketGPSWorld subscribers. We offer the best quality data available, verified and checked. We are the ONLY provider who offers an open honest approach to our service, full support, and the chance to join an elite band of users. £19 per year gives you access to our world-wide data downloads, permits installation on multiple devices owned by you or members of your direct family living at your address and the Lifetime Subscriber award scheme.
So if you still haven't joined up, why not! _________________ Darren Griffin |

Fantastic news.
Now, how about adding a feature that lets me specify in my profile that I want UK speed zoned complete files for Tomtom OV2, and then get that emailed to me automatically every Wednesday?
Pretty please...
Marc.

that initial post from me was in fact a joke (presume you'd guessed that?) the whole thing was discussed and agreed as a feasible option :D

Is this the teams idea of a trial to see if MaFt can be pushed to manage a DAILY update _________________ Mike

Actually, it might not be outside the realms of possibility to have it updated in real time in the future _________________ Robert Brady |

This just goes to show how far the dedicated folks on the staff of PGPSW are prepared to go to provide the likes of us with first class service.
Thanks must also go to the dedicated troop of verifiers who carry out their duties in a timely and professional manner at their own cost, with now rewards other than helping the rest of us.
I will raise a glass to all of you as soon as I can! _________________ Ric - TomTom 520 DEAD - Passed to the great traffic jam in the sky. Now using Maps & Waze on Samsung Galaxy S4 + CamerAlert of course! |
