Recent holiday in Ireland produced trip that showed no speed cameras at all, at all from Waterford across to West Coast.

As I drove through Customs at Fishguard the first camera appeared on my TT unit; welcome back to UK.

However Ireland, is now adopting Gatso philosophy

We don't publish a camera database for Republic of Ireland. They want it both ways - they have plenty of cameras (note that the new ones are better quality replacements, not new initiative), but you'll be sent to jail and never let out, at all, at all, if they catch you with their speed cameras on your TomTom.

Sorry to disagree Dennis but we do publish camera data for Ireland. It is, however, in the EUR files due to them working in KPH as opposed to MPH.

Tks for that, as I have seen a few on my TT when around Dublin.

Some in country seem to be out of use, covered in dirt/trees, and of course they're not yellow..

I've reported some in past not on GPS database when over, but had none to report this time, as saw none.
