hi folks got a couple of numpty questions ok i have a tom tom one when i got the camera udate that come with the tom tom it had all road works on it on the motorways that arnt there any more
is there a way for me to remove them or can i reload the maps and cameras from tom tom with out payting again or is there any other ways

Welcome to the forum, it is possible to remove the TomTom Safety cameras from the device, I would also recommend you consider the much better Speed Camera database from this site, yes it does require a subscription but I think you will find it far more upto date.
Better still spot a new camera and report it, you get free life membership - Mike |

i would subscribe but i would not have a clue on how to add these files to the card |

i forgot how do you update maps or post codes as i put a postcode in for darwin lancashire and it wanted to take me to chorley |

There are plenty of different instruction guides to installing the camera database, one can be found by clicking Here it might appear daunting at first but it isn't difficult, if you do decide on this option and have any concerns just ask on the forum and someone will point you in the right direction.
Postcode files are sometimes updated with the map updates, although not always, it is possible to download the latest postcode files from the TomTom web site by clicking Here the resultant download need to be unzipped then it replaces the zip folder on your device.
For maps you have to go to the TomTom Map Shop and purchase the updated map for your device. - Mike |
