I have a 910 and connected my friends 520 to my PC to update his software as he doesn't own a computor Home asked to update my account which I did but when I swapped the 520 back to my 910 I was informed that as it wasn't now linked to my account i would have to wait 6 months or connect customer services!! Please can any one tell me how to do this as for the life of me I cannot find any mention on the TomTom web site of customer services.

Hi, I did this a while back in error. I had done it a few times before and not changed the device which is what you should do if only doing a temporary connection.
I contacted customer services, they couldn't help and I had to wait for the 6 months to expire before i could change back to my own device.
I think you can create a new account though, although any PLUS services might be a problem to transfer.

Tom Tom support contacted me today and agreed to reset my account back to the original 910 one, so I'm as happy as Larry
I'm giving a laurel, and hardy handshake to the support staff _________________ Flinx |
