Hi,
I am confused. I always download new POI's when I receive email. The problem seems to be that any previous information is not overwritten. I am therefore still being advised by my Garmin of 50mph limits on the M25 and other places when the road works were cleared a year ago.
Should I delete before loading or what?

Mike,
In general, when you update, you overwite the existing files with the new files in the zip.
However, its possible a file you downloaded a year ago is still there, either because its been renamed, or the database file no longer exists.
Cheers

Mike,
Can you clarify what you are doing? It sounds like as mpwilson99 says you are loading more than one database at a time. Possibly that you once downloaded the single file database and are now downloading the consolidated database so the files don't over write each other as they have different names.
I would delete all POIs from the POI directory on your PC and start again. See if that helps. |
