Can anyone help me establish a link between a Clip On and a lapyop running XP Oro? I am using a Belkin F8T002 Bluetooth PC Card in the laptop. I can get a link between the Clip On and my iPAQ 2215.

Was the FBToo2 coming with any kind of Bluetooth stack software? You need to install that, and then configure the client service "Serial Port" for nonencrypted automatic start. Then you need to discover BT devices in the neighborhood (helps if the CilipOn is swithced on :| ) and then you can connect your laptop as a client to the Serial Port service offered by the ClipOn. You may need to bond the devices 0 the bonding code is in the comparison database.

Thanks for you reply. I did install the software and the laptop recognizes the Clip On but I seem to be stuck at the point where I am unable to connect the SPP slave. I did have it working a bit ago but the connection failed and I can"t seem to get it back.

All I can think of is to double check the connection type (needs to be non-secured) and the bonding code...

Thanks. I have it non-secured. What is the bonding code?
