Purchased Garmin 760 on the 20th September, but for some onknown reason it lost the ability to give me verbal information.
Returned it to the place of purchase, now awaiting a replacement, otherwise and excellent SatNav item |

Hi and welcome.
Do you know what firmware version it was running? It was a common problem with 4.0 and seems fixed in 4.1. |

Having recently upgraded to 4.10, I have just started getting this problem. Have to reset the voice directions every time I switch the unit on.
Not very good Garmin. |

The latest update resolves these issues but you may still have to keep choosing the voice you wish to use. After a period of time your Garmin will remember the voice until you change it. |
