P560 flash memory

Hi, i just purchased a mitac P560,

I read at the specs that it should have from 512 mb to 4 gb flash memory depending of the region.

however, mine´s shows a total of 394 megs at "my flash disk" capacity.

Is this correct?

In simple terms.

1024kB=1MB * 394 (shown on the card) = 403.456MB + bits and bobs written on the card to make it work.

The 320GB Hard Drive on my computer shows 298GB after formatting.

If you want a better idea of what you are about to buy, divide the capacity of the card or HD by 1.024 for a better idea of size.
