Hello there
Just wondered if buying a completely new 520 would allow me to update its firmware and maps for free to use IQ and Advanced Lane Guidance? Does anyone know?
Thanks a lot. |

Yes, though you only get weekday/weekend IQ - so far anyway. I got a new 720 from Argos on Saturday and had no problems updating. _________________ Alan

I bought a 520 on Sunday, and I see, though haven't used yet, IQ routes is in there. Updated to latest maps & software no issues at all. I don't know what the lane guidance is but I can check if thats there if you tell me where to look (I previously had a 300 so these features are new to me) |

This has been discussed and confirmed in another thread. If you buy any x20 now and update to the latest v8 firmware then use the LMG to get the v8.10 map you will end up with a device functionally identical to its x30 equivalent. _________________ Darren Griffin |
