Thanks for the reply and link, haven't looked at it closely but I'm not looking to buy any programme/product.
I have a TT720 and a Blackberry and the up to date maps so no need to buy anything else.
On my Blackberry there are already maps linked to the address book but they aren't much good, just thought if it was possible it would be a better application. _________________ TTGO720 |

Yes your product is probably not as good, but that may explain why it is free and Tom Tom isn't
The only legal way to get Tom Tom maps is to buy them. And this forum does not tolerate advice on illegal ways _________________ Peter

Oooops.........not quite sure what the problem is peterc10, but if you read my post you will see I did say I HAVE bought the maps, the latest ones.
I said I am not looking to buy any products as I already have them, paid for.
The original question I asked was can the Tom Tom maps be used on a mobile phone ie my Blackberry as well as the Tom Tom.
Thank you! _________________ TTGO720 |

There is one slight issue in that maps are purchased and activated to a single device as described in the EULA, it is not possible to use the same map on a different device.
Also AFAIK it isn't possible to run TTN software on the Blackberry phones either - Mike |

Sorry for any misunderstanding, but I took your reference to up to date maps to be a reference to the existing maps you referred to as being on the Blackberry, and that you were looking for "free" TT maps to replace them. If that is not the case I apologise.
Ifyou were referring to the maps on the TT720 then as Mike has made clear it is neither possible nor legal to successfully move the maps from that onto the Blackberry. _________________ Peter
