Hi, I am in Europe and identifying many unlisted cameras. The problem I have is that the info Navman gives is something like
46"20 7.5N
6"09 39.3E
What figures do I enter into Speed Camera detected with Pocket GPS world. That is, the information is not in digital format i.e. 46.333 and what do the numbers after the first set mean i.e. in above 7.5N |

Too late now and not even sure if this is available on N-series, but on S-series you can go to second page of Preferences - Units and change Position Format from "Degrees, minutes and seconds" to "Decimal degrees" to have unit give you the coordinates in the format you want. |

the coordinates in your original post can be input into the submission page via the search bar in this format:
46 20 7.5N 6 09 39.3E
i.e. just remove the quotation marks and make sure teh northing is placed before the easting.

To answer your last. The format that you have given above appears to be in Degrees, Minuites and seconds.
There are 60 mins in a degree and 60 seconds in a minuite
so the first one s 46 deg, 20 min, 7.5 sec |

You might be interested to know that the N20 will give position format in either Decimal Degrees or Degrees, minutes, and seconds.
Go to Preferences, Display,Measurements then screen No 2 then select your preference. _________________ Gee-Pee
