Have you tried resetting the device with a paperclip on the underside of the device?
If you have does it power up with the lead disconnected, and does it stay powered up if you then reconnect the power to the device? - Mike |

Hi, Have you tried pressing and holding the on button for a few seconds? There was an issue with one Firmware version (can't remember which) that required a hold for between 5 and 10 seconds.
It was resolved for my 520 in version 8.010, so it must have been either the previous release, or the one before that. _________________ Ric - TomTom 520 DEAD - Passed to the great traffic jam in the sky. Now using Maps & Waze on Samsung Galaxy S4 + CamerAlert of course! |

Did you have any joy, joeann90?
Another scenario (I hope this HASN'T happened) is that a faulty charger has put more than the required 5V up the TomTom, and blown it up. That gives the same symptoms... |

I see that you have tried the main tests as suggested by other members. I had a similar problems on a TT 910, it resulted in sending it off for repair, it was returned fixed by replacement of the main board, (under warranty). I appreciate that this may not be an option for you. My own thoughts on the problem was that whilst the green light was on it was not charging, but when pressing down on the unit whilst mounted on the charger it did appear to start charging. _________________ Sat Nav of choice WAZE
