I've just updated my map on a Go 700 and all my POI have disappeared.
Appreciate any help to get them back. I did copy all the files onto my PC before updating. Thanks |

Hi,
I have a 710 and updated the maps about 10 months ago now.
All i did was copy all the POI files back into the map folder on the TT.
So if you have a map folder called WesternEurope, just copy and paste (drag and drop) them back into that folder.
Not sure, but I think I had to reset the 'warn when near' settings again as well. Bit of a pain if you have a lot, because you have to go into each POI separately to do it.
Good luck _________________ Triumph Tbird 1700. And now a Bonnie T100. |

Make sure you copy all the POI files, both the .bmp and .ov2 files over. If you've also lost you Favourites, copy the Mapsettings.cfg file from your backup as well. If you have the PGPSW Speed Cameras, and have sound files, copy the .ogg files as well. _________________ Ric - TomTom 520 DEAD - Passed to the great traffic jam in the sky.
