|
|
I recently subscribed to the official TTG safety cameras. When approaching red light camera, the warning sounds but the icon shown is that of a speed camera, not the traffic lights icon. I've seen other TTGs show the correct icon. I'm using the latest software for TTG. Anyone any idea how to correct this?
Thanks

TomTom speed cameras are a complete mystery - they show different icons for the same camera types and/or they show the same icons for different camera types. Sometimes. One difficulty in trying to resolve this is that you can't see the cameras when you browse the map, so you can't identify which camera is what and what its icon is or should be.
You could try phoning TT support for an answer, but I'd wager a small sum that you'll not be able to get any sense out of them. 0845 161 0009.
It's yet another very good reason for using the camera database from us instead.

Same here. Complete mystery as to what symbols the TT data throws up for any particular camera, and no way to even report it as far as I could see.
Stick with the one from here. |

Thanks for the comments. I used to use safety camera service from this site which worked well, but fancied a change - should've stayed where I was!

Does the Pocket GPS safety camera database subscription include european countries such as France. If so, I would assume it would be in a a seperate section. Any info on this would be great. |

If you have subscribed it's available when you go to download the database. |
