I have recently upgraded from my chunky 910 to a 930T and I am having a few issues with it.
I have the problem where the unit will switch itself back on about a minute after I've switched it off, it look like it's rebooting/reloading when it switches back on as it starts with the update bar going along the bottom of the screen before it loads to the map screen. It can do this about 3-4 times in a row before eventually switching off or it runs out of battery (if I have left it before it switches back on)
I also have an intermittent fault where if I have the TMC aerial connected and it paired with my SE K810i phone the unit will either lock up or keep resetting, the only way to stop this when it happens is to unpair the phone/ stop using the TMC and push the reset button.
I also have an intermittent fault where I have no sound with the bluetooth phone connection, but if I unpair and repair the phone it's OK
Sometimes it all works perfectly and when it does it's great but often I come across these faults. I have seen that others seem to be having the same issues, is this something Tomtom are working on and will fix in the next software release or am I going to have to return my unit? I have contacted Tomtom customer support but am still waiting for a response.
Could it be something I have done to the unit, all I have loaded on it are the PGPS speed camera's, a few POI's of supermarkets etc, a couple of custom colour schemes and a new car icon, surely it should be able to cope with these, my old 910 could.
I have tried the clearflash tool and have run chkdsk and fixed the corrupted gps file as mention in the other threads, I have reinstalled the latest software update but still I'm having problems. What else can you guys suggest I do, I have a backup from when the unit is new, should I copy that onto it or will it not make any difference.
I'm getting a bit annoyed with what otherwise is a wonderful unit, any help would be most appreciated.

Hi Vicky,
I'm sorry to say it sounds as though you've already done the things we would have suggested. I have a 920T which suffers the same way your 930 does (plus I also get hands free phone crashing regularly). It switched itself back on again four times before I could get into the house when I got home today!!
I have decided to hang onto mine, on the basis that even misbehaving, I still like it too much to dump it.
You have to decide which way to go - what's the chances of you getting a perfect one back (repair or replacement)? I went through seven GO720s like this and now the 920. Losing the will to live!!
It's difficult to judge - there must be loads of people out there who have perfectly working ones. In my own case, I have two other devices working alongside it, so if it decides to misbehave, I'm not going to be left high and dry!! _________________ Dennis
If it's new then I don't see why you should put up with the faults so I would get it back to the shop where you go it & demand an exchange or money back.
The things you mention sound like pretty major faults to me & totally unaceptable for any sat nav unit.
