Congestion Charging Zone(s)

Is there some way my Tomtom 510 can be made aware of London's Congestion Charging Zone, and any others that may be set up in the future?

I had to travel from Birmingham to Rochester, Kent, by way of St John's Wood, and it kept trying to take me directly across Central London, which at £8 per day I don't want! Shocked

It already knows about toll fees at Dartford, and the M6 Toll, so the Congestion Zone ought to be in there as well. After all, it has been active for quite some time now, hasn't it?

You could try upgrading to the latest map which I believe includes the zone data. The latest map version you can have for your device is 7.20.

Hi Mike, thanks for responding.
My map is "United_Kingdom_and_Republic_of_Ireland" v715.1703
The Tomtom software is V7.162

Shouldn't this know about Congestion zone?

I've just checked, I bought this map 3rd December 2007, £29.95
Surely I don't need to buy another? Confused

Thanks, Mike, sorted!

The Tomtom had recently (two days ago,) returned from being repaired, and some of my settings had got lost!

It now throws up the Toll Charge warning when planning through the congestion zone. Smile
