just wondering what the difference between a temporary and permanent correction in mapshare is. Ideally I'd like to be asked to review my temporary correction at some point in the future or show them as a list on the device where I can delete them quickly when they no longer apply (e.g. Road closed for a few days due to roadworks). Any ideas?

Do mapshare corrections I make persist between map versions or do I need to reenter them each time?

You need to reenter them for each new map release - unless they have been integrated with the new map release (I don't believe this has happened yet). According to some forum members, the first map releases in 2009 are can be expected to contain corrections reported via MapShare, but it's not clear for which map releases these corrections were made.

The other question is a good one...
I've never marked a correction as 'temporary', I wonder how they are dealt with differently?
