Hi all,
I have just purchased a 303MMF with the BT 401 sleeve, and running Copilot 4 on IPAQ H5550.

I'm just wondering is this correct: When I tried to use the GPS , I must 1st turn the BT on with the BT button on the task menu ( the bottom right hand corner of Today screen) , then use the Haicom BTGPS Shortcut to activated it, and run CoPilot program to get the GPS connected to the app.

I have tried to bypass the 1st step, and run the Copilot program first, the app automatically ran the BT browser screen (with BT light ON the PDA), and showing the shortcut to the Haicom BT GPS, but when I tried to tap the shortcut to get it connected, the screen is froze, the blue light on the PDA turn off, while the blue light on the BT401 still flashing.

Can someone tell me is this ok? how come I can't run the prog using the 2nd method ?

Many thanks in advance.

You may want to try the BTM hack, as described in the TomTom forum (automatic connection)

I have the same gps combo with the Ipaq 2215 and Navigator Trial.
I was told by buyGPSNow.com that I had to start the BT Radio first just like you are doing. Skipping that step just hangs the thing up and I have to soft reset. I didn't know about that Hack Lutz mentions. I would give it a try but my Blue tooth unit is on its way back.

Thank you Ibendlin. I've download and installed the Utility from Handango: BtRegTweak and it did the trick ! Thumbs Up

To modman, try to do the same as me and hopefully this will solve your problem. Good luck !

This is a fantastic forum. Many thanks again.
