POI warning sounds

Is there a way to add sounds to the list of sounds that exist.
I would like to record some spoken words to the list but I cant locate any sound files to change or add to can anyone help?

The existing sounds are WAV files and they are stored in the "sounds" folder. If you create some, save them there and they'll be available for you to use.

Just wait a bit to see if anybody comes along to tell you if they have to be subject to specifications that I don't understand, like Hz and stuff.

yes Home has a few sounds under add maps then right arrow across to sounds there are a load there to start with ,also if you search enough you can find some on the internet
