|

Hi forum, newbie here with a Nuvi 250w and a strange question.
I'm UK based, but bought my Nuvi in the USA, so the embedded maps are for the USA.
I bought the latest 2008 series european maps from Garmin and installed them on an SD card, works perfectly - insert the card and I have full european mapping.
I'm off to France next week and would like to load the european camera database from this site - however can anyone advise if this is possible, bearing in mind that my euro maps are on the SD card?
I don't want to buy a camera database I can't use!
Cheers for the help

Thanks MaFt, much appreciated.
I went to download the camera database, all I can find is the annual subscription - I'm sure that the last time I used this site you could pay £2.99 or something for a one-time download.
Is this option no longer available or am I missing something? |

the £2 option was removed as it was being abused by those wishing to pirate out data. £2 was not a lot for them to forfeit, but £19 is a bit harder to swallow for the sake of some kudos from complete strangers on the internet!

That's cool, thanks for the info.
I'll be paying the £19 then, as long as I can get my Nuvi fixed. (I was trying to hard wire the unit into my car today and managed to give it 12v - oops!!) |
