one xl backup/update fails

i've just updated my tom tom home. Now it won't backup - says theres an error writing ttsystem1 and updating causes and blue screen of death when updating gets to gpsquickfix.

any thoughts? tomtom works fine just not with the new tomtomhome.

Welcome to the forum, if all you want to do is a back up use Windows Explorer, for a start it is far more reliable.
The Quick Fix is a marketing gimick that has little use if the device is used on a regular basis.

If you really need the Home interface remove it from the PC and install the latest version again from a fresh download, the one you have got on the PC sounds corupt in some way - Mike
