hi can someone please tell me if my PDA(acer) which has tomtom software on it, will work in the US thanks ?

Welcome to the forum, as long as you have a US map loaded and selected on the device it will work fine, you might find the Time To First Fix when you get to the USA will be a little longer than you are used to, but wait for a position fix and the device will work over there - Mike
