garmin760 route change

hi.i have just got a garmin760..i want to travel from uk to bulgaria but the countries that the sat nav hes routed me through are not the way i want to go (eg.i want hungry/romania) i am strugling puting the route i want when i start with a diferent country it wants a address or post code,is there a way to route through the countries i want with out addresses or post codes...any help please

You can browse the map and add waypoints to an existing route from the map. This way you can force the route you want to take.

An easier way to do it is to plan the entire route on your PC, using something like MS Autoroute or Mapsource, and then transfer the completed route to your Nuvi.
