|
|
We have just finished reviewing ARKON's latest mounting solution, the friction base together with a selection of their other mounting options including dash, console, windscreen, vent and floor mounts.
The friction base is similar to the bean bag type mount and allows you to use your device in any car without having to use a windscreen mount or other permanent or semi-permanent mount. It's a neat solution and one that can also utilise any other suction mount you may have thus ensuring compatibility with a huge range of devices.
The full review can be found here. _________________ Darren Griffin |

The Bean Bag Friction mount definitely looks the busines for the TT GO *20 series.
Does anyone know the best place to order one from in the UK ?
Darren, you may have missed the link to the forum discussion at the bottom of the review ??
Cheers

I'm awaiting ARKON's response to my enquire re. UK Retailers. I should have that later this eve.
Thanks for spotting the error, it was there but somehow I'd inadvertently set the link to size1 so it was so small you couldn't see it, now corrected! _________________ Darren Griffin |

I have updated the review with a link to the Authorised retailers page. ARKON have confirmed that the new mounts should be in stock with those retailers who have already placed orders some time next week. _________________ Darren Griffin |

Bean bag mount looks very good and could be used by many different GPS units. _________________ Navigon 8450 LIVE |

I've pre-ordered mine already. I've been waiting patiently for these to come on the market suitable for the TT GO720 unit. Thanks to Darren and team for a great review on this product.

Hi John,
I got mine pre-order from Blue Unplugged. They have a bean bag which includes the mount for the GO 720 device. I'm looking forward to giving it a try, I've used the Garmin bean bag before and it's excellent.

Just out of interest, was there a reason why the review didn't cover the TTGO123 CUp Holder Mount? _________________ Richard

Indeed there was, we weren't sent one Besides neither of my cards has a cup holder anyway
It looks like a good solution though. _________________ Darren Griffin |
