As this is all new to me caan someone please confirm that I can download the speed camera information to the above Garmin even though currently it does not have this facility?

Yes.

You need to install PoiLoader on your main pc. Then download the safety camera files, unzip them to a folder of your choice, then connect your i3 to your main pc and PoiLoader will(should) detect your i3, then browse to that folder from within PoiLoader, then load them to the i3. Can sometimes look like it's doing nothing when loading, but it will complete.

Note: PoiLoader will delete any other poi's that you load to it each time you use it(not the pre-loaded defalt ones). So if you load any others to it, e.g. car dealers etc., you would need to put them ALL in the same folder next time so that they will be loaded again(including the map icons).

Also when you go to download the Database make sure you select Garmin POILoader and then i suggest Consolidated Database.
