Ehhh!!! Help!! I Just got my hands on the Tomtom 930 looks very good on vision but it is rubbish in the inside im not pleased.. When i go to "Navigate to" Then "Postcode" i enter my postcode E# ### (# = Number/Letter Laughing Out Loud privacy) Then it comes up as only E# and not the last 3 digits of the postcode in that Results part of the screen.. But on the old versions of Tomtom it was E# ### Then it asks for the House number but the strange part is on the 930 i even get cities, Streets on the post code results starting with "E" Also when i press next after i press the first 2 of my postcode i get "Street Name" ... I remember clicking on "Postcode" when i pressed navigate to not complete Address..
It's very weird!!! So i really need some help.. I'll be waiting for answers on how to fix this.

In your example you have a space. You don't need to use the space when using the Postcode Function. (Or was it just a typo?) Smile

No no i don't put space (duhh you dont need to :D) I just go to Navigate to Address Postcode enter my full post code like e26nw and the result comes up as e2 and when i go next it asks for street name then more information.. However if i go back at that stage to the postcode entry i get that i have only entered "e2" however i entered e26nw.

MAP: "Western_and_Central_Europe" v800.1762
Version of tomtom i think : 8.002

I hope i can get a fix on this Sad

Then you need to check the Folders on the Devcie with Windows Explorer.

Look for a Folder called zip in the Root of the Device Drive.

Then check that it has 4 files in it. 2 of .Postal and 2 of .ver Files.

If you don't have the ZIP folder then that is your issue. It should be there.

my tomtom runs perfectly fine except for the problems that i said.. Wouldn't it be showing some effects or i would have major problems if a folder that is required isn't there?

The Device should have come with a zip Folder and the 4 files that go in it.

Did you by any chance purchase the unit from a country that does have Postcodes?

That Folder only does the Postcodes and is not used for any other Function.

Nevermind.. It was the mem card..

Let's focus on the zip folder.. How do i replace it?

EDIT: putting zip folder now..

Well I've gotta say THANKS SO MUCH xD :D Wow! Works great now :P
The only problem is this is only GB And Nederland i think? What about the other countries? Because this summer i'll be going to Turkey via Car from London and maybe i'll require Postcode?

I don't know the answer to the Greece question. Sad

Now you are up and running, it is essential you do an Explorer Full Backup. Wink
