Have searched high and low for a solution, can't find a thing anywhere. Navman support are shut for the bank holiday and i need the satnav
Basically, i connected it to my PC yesterday and SmarST said there was an update for my N20. I followed the instructions to the point where i needed to turn my N20 off then on again and it is now stuck at the initial splash screen, just says Navman Ultimate Navigation with N20 underneath.
The bit of advise i managed to get from navman support does not work as it requires connection of the N20 to my PC and remove a directory in the N20 memory. My PC does not let me navigate the device though

Could you describe in as much detail as possible the whole update procedure -- what you did, what device displayed, what PC said...
Hmm, if memory serves me, this is roughly what happened.
SmartST said there was update and asked if i would like it, i said yes and it downloaded it and started the install. Install said that when it was finished, to disconnect the N20 and reboot it. I disconnected the N20, but it immediately rebooted itself, but will now not get beyond the initial splash screen.
I believe i disconnected at the right time, but it is entirely possible i disconnected too early, which is what i am suspecting.
