Can anyone confirm the speed camera database is compatible with TomTom Navigator 7.450.9028? Including the *.OGG voice prompts?
I don't want to fork out £19 for nothing...
Many Thanks, |

The database is fully compatible. If this is the PDA Version then the .ogg file voice alerts should work but I cannot confirm that as we don't have one to test it upon. _________________ Darren Griffin |

OGG files work in exactly the same way as they did on TTN5 and TTN6, I have seen this running and working on a HTC Diamond - Mike |

Maybe this is all a wild goose chase and the OP was talking about v7.450 on a TomTom PND?
Although I have to admit I have never heard of that version number at all!
There's v7.540 for the Rider.... |

This is the version pre-installed to the HTC Diamond phone, it is TomTom Navigator 7 which is for a PDA based phone, you get the addition of MapShare, HelpMe and custom cursors - otherwise it is TomTom Navigator - whether this will be made available for use on any other device is not known. There is another thread discussing this software version Here
Please note there has been a few posts about where to get the software and maps etc. Where you get the software is at best described as dubious (unless you have the HTC device, with the software pre-loaded), any links to illegal downloads, map activation work arounds etc will result in the post being removed as such activity is outside the rules - Mike |
