Is it not possible to get the shortest and the fastest way in tt3? Tomtom 3 take some strange ways sometime. :o

In Map mode, tap on A->B, then on Type. There you can set quickest, Shortest, or Walking modes. The problem is that these don't stick. As soon as you reroute you are back to quickest mode.

Damn that they dont stick!
When I creating a route in navigation mode. Is it then the fastest route?

Usually the route you create in TomTom Navigator is a quickest route.
Shortest route is often not that helpful, at least in the UK - it can take you down some very dodgy roads!
