Is it not possible to get the shortest and the fastest way in tt3? Tomtom 3 take some strange ways sometime. :o _________________ Ipaq 2210 (rom 1.10)

In Map mode, tap on A->B, then on Type. There you can set quickest, Shortest, or Walking modes. The problem is that these don't stick. As soon as you reroute you are back to quickest mode. _________________ Lutz

Damn that they dont stick!
When I creating a route in navigation mode. Is it then the fastest route? _________________ Ipaq 2210 (rom 1.10)

Usually the route you create in TomTom Navigator is a quickest route.
Shortest route is often not that helpful, at least in the UK - it can take you down some very dodgy roads!
