|

I can see next street in Tomtom navigator window but I can't see the current street I'm driving on.
Is it possible to displayit in some way?
Have anyone write an overlay for this function?

if you tap on the screen once the current street is shown at the bottom.
If you want to see it permanently then you need to run navigator mode without actually running a route. _________________ Lutz

But if I am in Navigator mode and follow a route Tomtom will only display next street at the bottom. If I tap the the screen I got the menu.
I compare to Navman SmartST it display the current street at the bottom and next street at the top of the display.
I can't find this function in Tomtom. Is it available or does someone have write a overlay for this?

yes, you get the menu, but you also get your current location below it. Look again.
No, this cannot be solved with an overlay. _________________ Lutz

OK bad eyes ;-)
But it's not possible to display it all the time in the navigator window without taping the screen?

Some of the preview screen shots of the Navigator view seemed to show the street names being displayed in the 3D view along the length of each road. The TTN3 that I have seen didn't display the street names in this view.
Is this something that can be turned on?

If you "Hide Map" from the menu, the current street will be displayed in the Navigator screen, below the direction arrow, with the next street above.

Are there any other differences between a PPC and Palm version of TTN3? |
