|
|
Hi,
I want a basic sat nav and have been looking at the NavMan S50, TomTom One XL and Garmin Nuvi 250.
I need
- UK Maps
- Largish screen
- Good response/performance
- Clear instructions
- Updatable (maps and POI)
- Full postcode navigation + preferably GPS Co-ordinates
- Able to locate Cash machines/petrol/food etc
I Don't need
- BlueTooth
- European Maps
- Camera or any gimics
Can anyone suggest which one would be best for me? Budget is around the £100 mark
Cheers

Garmin or Tomtom are the leading sat nav makes for your budget have a look at the Garmin nuvi 200 wide at £99.
Its important that you have a look at them in the shops because choosing a sat nav is down to personal taste
Keep an eye on prices as sat navs move up and down with short term promotions |

TomTom One XL... no competition IMHO.
As John says, it's really down to how each one feels to you, so do your best to actually play with them both. |

Yes that would have been the one I would have chosen but his budget was around the £100 mark at £142 it may be to expensive |
