Hi,

I want a basic sat nav and have been looking at the NavMan S50, TomTom One XL and Garmin Nuvi 250.

I need
- UK Maps
- Largish screen
- Good response/performance
- Clear instructions
- Updatable (maps and POI)
- Full postcode navigation + preferably GPS Co-ordinates
- Able to locate Cash machines/petrol/food etc

I Don't need
- BlueTooth
- European Maps
- Camera or any gimics

Can anyone suggest which one would be best for me? Budget is around the £100 mark

Cheers

James

Garmin or Tomtom are the leading sat nav makes for your budget have a look at the Garmin nuvi 200 wide at £99.

Its important that you have a look at them in the shops because choosing a sat nav is down to personal taste

Keep an eye on prices as sat navs move up and down with short term promotions

TomTom One XL... no competition IMHO.

As John says, it's really down to how each one feels to you, so do your best to actually play with them both.
